At WeekEye we believe everyone deserves the same experience and the same service — including people with disabilities. We work to keep www.weekeye.com comfortable, accessible and easy to use for every visitor.
Accessibility level and standard
The site follows the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We also work to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA (the level referenced by EN 301 549 in the EU).
The latest accessibility review took place on October 30, 2026 and covered the site's public pages — the home page, product and solution pages, the magazine and its articles, About, Contact and the legal pages — on desktop and on phones.
What we have done
- Full keyboard navigation, a clearly visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- A logical heading structure and landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) for screen-reader navigation.
- The page language and text direction (right-to-left or left-to-right) are declared on every page, in all nine site languages.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Every button and link has a clear name, including icon-only ones.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and a dark display mode.
- A responsive layout for every screen size, with text that can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
- Every form field has a label, required fields are marked, and error messages are written in words and announced to screen readers.
- Animations are reduced to a minimum when the device asks for reduced motion.
- On computers, an accessibility menu (bottom corner) offers larger text, contrast modes, link highlighting, a readable font, pausing animations and more.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible. We keep improving them; this is what we know of:
- The magazine's illustrations are images of screens from the product; everything they show is also described in the article text.
- On phones (screens up to 768 pixels wide) the accessibility menu is not shown, so it never covers the page's action buttons. On a phone, the device's own accessibility tools (zoom, screen reader, contrast) work with the site, and the site itself is accessible without the menu.
- Third-party components — the accessibility menu and analytics tools — come from outside vendors and may not all meet every requirement.
- The product itself (after sign-in) is reviewed and improved separately. If anything there is hard to use, we are glad to help through the details below.
