About WeekEye
Scheduling that starts with a sentence, not a spreadsheet.
1. What WeekEye is
WeekEye is an AI shift-scheduling platform for teams that run on shifts: restaurants, security companies, clinics and hospitals, warehouses, emergency services and every organization that has to cover the week, every week. You describe your organization in plain language — the shifts, the roles, the people, the rules — and the builder turns that description into a living schedule model: positions, crews, constraints and preferences you can see, edit and keep.
From that model the scheduler generates a fair week in minutes, publishes it to the team, collects availability and swap requests, and keeps everyone informed on their phones. Nothing about the week lives in one person's memory anymore.
2. Why we built it
Most scheduling software asks you to translate your business into its menus: rule types, templates, drop-downs. The manager who knows exactly how the kitchen works on a Saturday night ends up clicking through screens to say it. We wanted the opposite: software that understands how you already talk about your team. "Two senior nurses on every night shift, nobody more than three nights in a row, weekends rotate" should be enough to start.
The second reason is fairness. When the schedule is built by memory, the same three names end up on the hard shifts and nobody can quite prove it. A schedule built from explicit rules is a schedule everyone can read, question and trust.
3. How it works
- Describe. Type or paste how your organization works — or drop in the Excel or PDF schedule you use today; it is read into shifts, positions and people.
- Review the canvas. The builder shows what it understood as an editable structure. You correct it in words or by hand. Nothing is committed until you say so.
- Set the rules. Rest between shifts, maximum consecutive days, minimum staffing, certifications, fair rotation of weekends and nights — written once, enforced on every draft.
- Generate and publish. The engine builds the week under those rules, you adjust what you want, and the team receives it on the mobile app with notifications.
- Keep it running. Employees submit availability and swap requests; managers approve with one tap; insights show hours, coverage gaps and fairness over time.
4. What we hold ourselves to
- The manager decides. AI drafts, explains and suggests; a person approves. Every generated schedule is a proposal until it is published.
- Rules are visible. Every constraint the engine applies is one you can open, read and change. There are no hidden heuristics that quietly favour anyone.
- Your data stays yours. Organization data is used to run your schedules, not to train models for others. See our Privacy policy and Terms of service.
- Accessible and multilingual. The product, including the AI builder, works in nine languages — English, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Romanian and Portuguese — with right-to-left layouts and keyboard navigation. We publish what we support and what we are still improving.
- Security by default. Encrypted in transit and at rest, role-based access, organization isolation and audit trails.
5. Who it is for
Teams from five people to several hundred, in any industry where coverage matters: restaurants and hospitality, security and guarding, clinics, hospitals and care homes, retail, logistics, manufacturing, emergency services and the public sector. If your week is a grid of shifts and people, WeekEye is built for you.
